The Sequel Fund is a early-stage seed fund that invests in young companies raising their first round of institutional capital. The fund welcomes companies from most industries including entertainment, manufacturing, food and beverage, health services, financial services, technology, entertainment, manufacturing, and consumer non-durables. Sequel Fund does not invest in FDA-regulated products. The fund invests in companies in Kentucky and lower Indiana. They require prospective companies to graduate from an Accelerator Program or to secure a lead investor on reasonable terms.
